About The Position

The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) represents the company to patients visiting for routine health services or important health decisions. The role draws quality blood samples and prepares specimens for laboratory testing in accordance with established practices and procedures. It involves direct patient contact, explaining procedures, and collecting blood skillfully, safely, and accurately while building patient trust and confidence. The PSR I demonstrates leadership behaviors, process excellence, and sensitivity to confidentiality and the accuracy of patient information.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
California License.
At least 6 months of experience.
Ability to provide quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision.
Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric patients.
Flexibility and availability based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call work, and overtime.
Keyboard and data-entry experience.
Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States; visa sponsorship or transfer is not available.

Nice To Haves

Phlebotomy certification is preferred; required in California, Nevada, and Washington.
Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
One year of phlebotomy experience preferred.
Customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred.

Perform forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties according to established practices and procedures.
Maintain required records and documentation.
