Phlebotomist - Clinical Labs
About The Position
The Phlebotomist performs standardized and specialized phlebotomy procedures on patients of all ages. The role supports providers’ ability to diagnose and treat patients by ensuring proper patient identification and specimen labeling, completing specimen receiving and processing, and checking in patients and entering laboratory test orders in the laboratory information system. This is a full-time, 100% FTE position scheduled Monday through Friday. Start times range from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM, and end times range from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM. Weekends and holidays are not required at this time. Hours may vary based on departmental operational needs.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Completion of an accredited Phlebotomy Training program and clinical rotation (preferred).
- One year of experience in phlebotomy and/or healthcare (preferred).
- Phlebotomist certification from the American Society for Clinical Pathology or equivalent (preferred).
