About The Position
IVI RMA North America has a need for a Part-Time Phlebotomist for our Eatontown, NJ clinic. This is a part-time role working Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 6am-11am and Wednesdays from 6am-2pm with rotating weekends. This individual will draw blood from patients for laboratory procedures used in the diagnosis and treatment of infertility. The Phlebotomist maintains a cooperative relationship with clinical staff and helps to create a positive experience for our patients.
Requirements
- Completion of a Phlebotomy Program – highly preferred (required in CA, WA, TX).
- 3+ years' recent work performing venipunctures in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting - required
- Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Word, and Outlook - required
- Electronic Medical Records (EMR) experience - required

Responsibilities
- Properly identifies patients.
- Performs and explains the process of the venipuncture and/or other specimen collection as required.
- Conducts blood draws, labeling specimens, and centrifuging specimens.
- Stores and transports specimen samples according to the different procedures to maintain integrity of the specimen.
- Understands and complies with OSHA and DEP regulations.
- Maintains clean and stocked phlebotomy Area.
- Reassures patients and provide comfort to ease anxieties.
