About The Position

Valley Medical Group is seeking a Phlebotomist to join their Laboratory team at the Greenfield Health Center. This is a part-time position with typical hours Monday-Friday generally between 8:30 am and 12:30 pm, though hours may vary based on department needs. The role requires the ability to collect blood from patients of all ages through venipuncture, excellent attention to detail, good customer service skills, and proficiency in computers, data entry, and equipment operation.

Requirements

• Graduate from a Phlebotomy Program or Medical Assistant Program
• Previous customer service or medical office experience
• High School graduate or equivalent
• Ability to collect blood from patients of all ages through venipuncture
• Excellent attention to detail
• Good customer service skills
• Proficient in computers, data entry, and the operation of equipment

Nice To Haves

• CPT preferred, but not required
• EMR experience preferred
• Athena experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Collecting samples from patients of all ages
• Processing and accessions of clinical specimens
• Checking patients in and out, scheduling appointments, answering phones, greeting patients
