About The Position

We are seeking a Phlebotomist Lead to collect blood specimens using a variety of techniques from patients of all ages in an inpatient and outpatient setting. This role involves working with other teams of healthcare professionals to provide a positive experience to all patients, families and visitors. The Phlebotomist Lead will also provide daily support to other laboratory staff with regard to laboratory policies and procedures, and will be responsible for onboarding and training new employees and students.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent Required
1 year of experience in phlebotomy Required

Nice To Haves

Completion of accredited phlebotomy training program and clinical rotation Preferred
2 years of experience in phlebotomy Preferred
Phlebotomist (American Society for Clinical Pathology) or equivalent Preferred
