Phlebotomist/Lab Assistant
About The Position
Responsible for collecting and processing all specimens ordered by licensed physicians. This role requires adherence to infection control and safety standards of Memorial Hospital, performing analysis of specimens according to test protocols, maintaining accurate clinical records, and ensuring all equipment and supplies are maintained according to hospital policies. The position also involves attending all inservices and meetings as directed, with the understanding that Lab Technician duties are an integral part of job performance. Adherence to the Guest Relations policy of Memorial Hospital and acceptance of other assigned duties are also expected.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Phlebotomy experience
