About The Position

This is a 4-month contract position for a Phlebotomist III - Floater. The role requires flexibility in shift and location, varying depending on work location and trainer availability. The position demands the ability to provide quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate will possess excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric collections, and be adaptable to staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime. A strong commitment to company policies, procedures, and guiding principles is essential. The role requires good judgment, reliable transportation, and the ability to travel and work at multiple locations with minimal notice. The ability to handle multiple priorities in a high-volume setting and demonstrate superior customer focus, open communication, and adaptability to change are key. Knowledge of the business is also required.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Three years of phlebotomy experience, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
  • Keyboard/data entry experience.
  • Must have reliable transportation, valid driver license, and clean driving record, if applicable.

Nice To Haves

  • Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
  • Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in California, Nevada, and Washington).
  • Minimum 2 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.
  • Customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Be flexible and available based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime.
