About The Position

Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Phlebotomist I to join their team in Winsted, CT. This position involves collecting specimens from patients and preparing them for laboratory testing. Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Phlebotomy certification or equivalent training.
Experience in phlebotomy or a related healthcare field.
Knowledge of medical terminology and laboratory procedures.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in using computer systems for data entry.

Nice To Haves

Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
Bilingual abilities (English/Spanish).

Responsibilities

Collect specimens from patients.
Prepare specimens for laboratory testing.
