About The Position

Pride Health is seeking an experienced Phlebotomist I to support multiple patient service and inpatient/outpatient locations throughout the Charleston, SC area. This is a float position, requiring reliable transportation and flexibility to travel between locations. The selected candidate may be required to work at various sites including North Charleston, Mt. Pleasant, West Ashley, Goose Creek, Summerville, and Walterboro. The role involves performing blood draws on both pediatric and geriatric patients.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1 year of direct phlebotomy experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and blood specimen collection accurately and safely.
• Perform pediatric and geriatric blood draws.
• Properly identify patients and specimens.
• Process, label, and handle specimens according to established procedures.
• Work independently at IOP locations and collaboratively at PSC locations.
• Maintain a professional and patient-focused environment.
• Follow all safety, compliance, and laboratory procedures.
• Travel between assigned locations as needed.
