About The Position

Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist to support our client’s team in Webster, TX. This is a full-time, 13-weeks contract. We are seeking an experienced Phlebotomist I / Patient Services Representative I to support a leading diagnostic laboratory organization in Webster, TX. This position is highly patient-facing and requires excellent phlebotomy skills, attention to detail, and the ability to provide a positive patient experience in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will collect and process blood specimens accurately and safely while maintaining patient confidentiality and following established procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 6+ months of direct phlebotomy experience

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and blood specimen collection accurately and safely.
• Perform pediatric and geriatric blood draws.
• Properly identify patients and specimens.
• Process, label, and handle specimens according to established procedures.
• Work independently at IOP locations and collaboratively at PSC locations.
• Maintain a professional and patient-focused environment.
• Follow all safety, compliance, and laboratory procedures.
• Travel between assigned locations as needed.
