About The Position

Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist I to support our client’s healthcare facility in Greenville, KY 42345. This is a contract-to-hire position with a schedule of Monday-Friday 8:00 am-3:30 pm MST, totaling 40 hours per week.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 6 months of phlebotomy experience
• Experience with venipuncture, capillary collections, specimen processing, labeling, chain of custody, and EMR/EHR.

Nice To Haves

• Phlebotomy certification/license

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture, capillary, pediatric, geriatric, and adult blood collections.
• Collect, label, process, and prepare specimens while maintaining specimen integrity.
• Verify patient identification and maintain accurate documentation.
• Provide excellent patient care while following HIPAA, safety, and infection-control protocols.
