About The Position

The Phlebotomist I position requires the ability to provide quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment. The role demands independence with minimal on-site supervision and excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric. Flexibility and availability are crucial, as the role requires working weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime based on staffing needs. Candidates must have reliable transportation, be punctual, and complete their entire shift. Excessive absenteeism or tardiness is grounds for termination. A commute window of 20-25 minutes is expected to ensure timely arrival for coverage. Bilingual candidates must have an excellent understanding of both English and Spanish.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 6 months of experience REQUIRED.
Keyboard/data entry experience is a must.
Reliable transportation to get to/from the worksite without issue.
Ability to work whenever scheduled, be on time, and stay for the entire shift.
Be within a 20-25 min commute window to ensure ability to travel to/from the site for coverage.

Nice To Haves

Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
Phlebotomy certification preferred.
One year of phlebotomy experience preferred.
Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred.
Bilingual (English and Spanish) with an excellent understanding of both languages.
