About The Position

SMG Family Medicine Belleharbour is hiring a Phlebotomist-CLA in Suffolk, VA. This is a Full-Time position, working Monday through Friday from 8am-4:30pm. The role involves performing patient phlebotomy with a high level of customer service, collecting and processing patient specimens, handling registration and data entry, and monitoring supply levels.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• BLS is required within 90 days of hire
• Phlebotomy experience of 1 year
• Completion of a Phlebotomy Program or Course in lieu of 1 year experience in Phlebotomy

Responsibilities

• Performs patient phlebotomy while maintaining the highest level of customer service.
• Collects, labels, and processes patient specimens for testing.
• Responsible for registration and test data entry.
• Monitors supply levels.
