About The Position

SMG Family Internal Medicine Belleharbour is hiring a Phlebotomist-CLA in Suffolk, VA. This is a part-time position on the day shift, working 20 hours weekly from 8 am to 1 pm, Monday through Friday. The role involves performing patient phlebotomy with a high level of customer service, collecting, labeling, and processing patient specimens for testing. Responsibilities also include registration, test data entry, and monitoring supply levels.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
• Phlebotomy experience of 1 year
• Completion of a Phlebotomy Program or Course in lieu of 1 year experience in Phlebotomy (Required)
• BLS is required within 90 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Performs patient phlebotomy while maintaining the highest level of customer service.
• Collects, labels, and processes patient specimens for testing.
• Responsible for registration and test data entry.
• Monitors supply levels.
