About The Position
SMG Family Internal Medicine Belleharbour is hiring a Phlebotomist-CLA in Suffolk, VA. This is a part-time position on the day shift, Monday through Friday, with 20 hours weekly. The role involves performing patient phlebotomy with a high level of customer service, collecting and processing specimens, registering patients, entering test data, and monitoring supply levels.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- BLS is required within 90 days of hire
- Phlebotomy experience of 1 year
- Completion of a Phlebotomy Program or Course in lieu of 1 year experience in Phlebotomy
Responsibilities
- Performs patient phlebotomy while maintaining the highest level of customer service.
- Collects, labels, and processes patient specimens for testing.
- Responsible for registration and test data entry.
- Monitors supply levels.
