About The Position
The major duty of this position is collecting blood specimens for laboratory testing. Most patients drawn are inpatients, and staff are cross-trained to assist in other areas. The role also requires some computer work. The position requires one year of healthcare or medical phlebotomy experience. A high school diploma or equivalent, one year of hospital experience, and computer experience are preferred. No certification or licensure is required.
