As a Phlebotomist/Administrative Assistant (internally known as Lab Services Specialist/Member Support Specialist) at one of their offices, you will provide an exceptional patient experience by performing venipuncture and other clinical support services. You will act as an ambassador for patients, demonstrating mastery of human connection and a strong drive for service. Your role will involve removing barriers to care to ensure an exceptional in-office patient experience. You will be responsible for the appearance and atmosphere of the office lobby, ensuring it aligns with the One Medical brand. You will be the first point of contact for patients and will provide additional support as requested by the Practice Coordinator, Operations Manager, or providers. This role is a 'Flex' position, meaning the specialist will support multiple offices within a market. You are expected to be a strong team player, utilizing innovative problem-solving skills to handle various tasks and challenges. You will combine excellent specimen collection techniques with tactful interpersonal skills in all patient interactions, both at the front desk and in the lab. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential. You should be able to identify opportunities and deliver customer-centric solutions with empathy, focus, and compassion.
