This role is responsible for executing the plasmapheresis process by performing venipunctures. The position ensures total operation is compliant with state and federal regulations (e.g., FDA approved SOPs, OSHA, CLIA, and GMP) to maintain the highest production standards and facility compliance. It also involves maintaining a high level of customer service and a positive donor experience, stocking supplies, reviewing donor identification, setting up equipment for venipuncture and plasmapheresis, executing venipunctures and plasma collection with high quality and safety, operating automated plasmapheresis machines, monitoring donor conditions, maintaining proper ratios for safety and product quality, disconnecting donors, and managing biohazard waste. The role also includes performing daily, weekly, and monthly calibration and maintenance of machines, maintaining accurate documentation, driving training efficiencies, and troubleshooting machine alarms/alerts.
