About The Position

At Regions, the Philanthropic Solutions (PS) Advisor advises individuals, families, and institutions in achieving their charitable missions. The advisor acquires clients, retains and develops relationships, and grows associated revenue for a group of charitable and nonprofit accounts. The role also serves as a subject matter expert on charitable and nonprofit community issues, opportunities, and trends, and develops knowledge of Regions’ products and services as well as a general understanding of Corporate Banking and Wealth businesses.

This is a full-time, exempt position based in Ridgeland, Mississippi. Compensation information lists a job-range minimum of $67,479.89 and a median of $90,090.00. The posting states that this job is not incentive eligible. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and three years of Trust or related experience; experience in Endowments, Foundations, or Charitable Giving is preferred; or a high school diploma or GED and seven years of Trust or related experience, preferably in those areas.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Proven sales ability and knowledge of effective sales techniques.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate complicated issues and topics to a diverse group.
• Strong oral, written, and organizational skills.
• Strong presentation and sales skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in Endowments, Foundations, or Charitable Giving.
• Juris Doctor (JD); the position is not authorized to practice law on behalf of Regions Bank.
• Master of Business Administration (MBA).
• Advanced degree.

Responsibilities

• Understand clients’ objectives and identify and provide alternatives to appropriate stakeholders to retain and grow relationships.
• Develop internal and external relationships with existing and new centers of influence.
• Prospect and develop internal and external business networks to generate new business opportunities and participate in sales presentations.
• Determine the financial viability and associated risks of client business.
• Oversee and provide exceptional service for client relationships, following issues through to resolution, meeting deadlines, and anticipating strategic client needs, future opportunities, and risks.
• Retain existing client relationships and maintain a focus on prudent revenue growth.
• Achieve assigned sales and retention goals.
• Understand clients’ financial goals and objectives and provide Regions-based solutions and expertise.
• Participate in client-facing sales presentations and generate new business opportunities.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on charitable and nonprofit community issues, opportunities, and trends, and potentially collaborate on white papers.
• Keep abreast of the charitable and nonprofit industry, which may include local involvement in organizations.
• Develop knowledge and understanding of Regions’ products and services and a general understanding of Corporate Banking and Wealth businesses.
• Perform duties in compliance with policies and procedures, applicable external regulations, and Regions’ capacity as outlined in governing documents.
