About The Position
The pharmacy technician is responsible for assisting the pharmacist in providing prescribed pharmaceuticals for a designated population. They provide technical support and other activities for the Pharmacy Department as delegated by a pharmacist. This role involves monitoring inventory, restocking supplies, and performing clerical duties while practicing within legal, ethical, and professional boundaries. The technician will also participate as a member of the team to achieve business goals, quality outcomes, and patient satisfaction.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid Mississippi driver's license
- Registered Pharmacy Technician or Registered Pharmacy Student in the state of MS. Must be registered within the three months of employment
Responsibilities
- Assists the pharmacist to provide prescribed pharmaceuticals for a designated patient population
