Part Time Pharmacy Technician
About The Position
Genoa Healthcare seeks a part-time Pharmacy Technician to support functions of its mental health pharmacy, primarily dispensing prescriptions and performing clerical duties under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist. The role is part of a coordinated care team serving behavioral health and addiction treatment communities. It is scheduled for 24 hours per week, with the ability to flex up if business needs arise. The employee must be available Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. MST, with a 12:30 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. MST lunch break. The position is located at 2675 S Abilene St., Suite 175, Aurora, CO 80014.
Requirements
- Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician License in Colorado.
- National Pharmacy Technician Certification.
- At least 1 year of Retail Pharmacy Technician experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to consumers and clinic staff.
- Fill prescription orders and make them available for verification under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist.
- Order, receive, and store incoming pharmacy supplies.
- Receive and process wholesaler medication orders.
- Verify medication stock and enter data in the computer to maintain inventory records.
- Work with the pharmacist to assist with pharmacy functions and maintain compliance with federal and state requirements.
- Perform clerical duties relating to the department.
- Communicate professionally using strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
