About The Position
The Pharmacy Technician – Specialty & Retail Pharmacy at NewYork-Presbyterian Queens supports licensed pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications for patients with complex and chronic conditions. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Completion of a formal Pharmacy Technician training program or equivalent on-the-job experience.
- New York State Registered Pharmacy Technician.
- Pharmacy Technician Certification.
- Previous experience in a hospital or retail pharmacy environment.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with pharmacy inventory automation systems.
- At least 2 years of pharmacy technician experience in a hospital setting.
