Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Completion of a formal Pharmacy Technician training program or equivalent on-the-job experience.
  • NYS Registered Pharmacy Technician.
  • Pharmacy Technician Certification.
  • Previous experience in a hospital or retail pharmacy environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with pharmacy inventory automation systems.
  • At least 2 years of pharmacy technician experience in a hospital setting.
