Pharmacy Tech for Inpatient, part-time
About The Position
The Pharmacy Technician role is a part-time position located at the Burnet Campus, specifically within the Main Pharmacy, Operating Room & Critical Care Pharmacy units. This role involves rotating through key areas of the inpatient pharmacy, working closely with pharmacists and clinical teams. The position requires preparing and distributing medications accurately and efficiently, supporting medication delivery for patient-specific doses across units, replenishing automated dispensing cabinets, maintaining inventory, and compounding sterile and non-sterile medications. It is a hands-on, detail-driven role where accuracy, teamwork, and urgency are paramount.
Requirements
- At least 6 months of pharmacy technician experience
- Licensed as a pharmacy technician in the State of Ohio
- Pharmacy technician certification (or ability to obtain within 18 months)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- A detail-oriented, team-first mindset
