Pharmacy Technician (Retail)
About The Position
This is a Per Diem Pharmacy Technician role working Saturdays from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm at UW Health Swedish American Hospital. The role requires current licensure from the State of Illinois, with a grace period for those who have applied for a license. Candidates enrolled in an ACPE-accredited college of pharmacy are exempt from certification but need a Pharmacy Technician- Student Designation license. Completion of Pharmacy Technician Certification is required within two years of the license issuance date. The position offers competitive pay with shift differentials, overtime, and on-call pay.
Requirements
- Current licensure from the State of Illinois. Candidates without a license may work in this role for 60 days from date of license application through Illinois Department of Professional and Financial Regulation.
- Those enrolled in an ACPE-accredited college of pharmacy are exempt from certification requirements, but will need to obtain a “Pharmacy Technician- Student Designation” license from IDFPR.
- Completion of Pharmacy Technician Certification within two (2) years of date license was first issued.
