About The Position

Cub Northside off Broadway Avenue is hiring a part-time Pharmacy Technician. The role supports the pharmacy by processing prescriptions, maintaining records, and assisting with stock. It also helps keep shelves stocked to ensure product availability and sales. The position includes varied weekly shifts, with weekends required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing, including speech, hearing, and writing.
• Ability to operate office equipment as needed, including a personal computer, telephone, and fax.
• Ability to work extended hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to write and see items at close reading distance.
• Ability to understand written and verbal communication.
• Ability to view computer screens for extended periods.
• Good judgment, including when direct supervision is not immediately available.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to walk on uneven ground.
• Ability to reach, bend, and perform repetitive motions.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist in filling prescriptions.
• Accurately process customer orders, ensuring price accuracy and product knowledge.
• Promote positive customer relations.
• Handle hazardous drugs.
• Receive and stock department merchandise.
• Assist with ordering.
• Pull drug bottles for pharmacists to fill prescriptions.
• Organize and clean.
• Maintain compliance with Board of Pharmacy regulations.
