About The Position

Accredo Specialty Pharmacy, a division of Evernorth Health Services, is looking for high-energy, positive individuals to join their pharmacy technician team. This role is responsible for ensuring prescriptions are dispensed and shipped appropriately within corporate and regulatory guidelines. Requirements

• High School Diploma / GED required
• Basic math skills and General PC knowledge including Microsoft Office, use of the internet and email
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy and quality.

Nice To Haves

• Pharmacy Technician license preferred.
• 1+ years of relevant work experience as a Pharmacy Technician, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Select and retrieve appropriate quantities of medication and prepare the labels that correspond.
• Work with a skilled team to ensure patients get the medication they need in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with pharmacists and production clerks to ensure that medications are adequately filled and support the pharmacy's quality goals.
• Deliver straight forward administrative and operational support services in the Pharmacy.
• Works to clearly define procedures under close supervision.
• Verify, print prescriptions, pick up medication, and help on the packing line.
