About The Position

Accredo Specialty Pharmacy, a division of Evernorth Health Services, part of The Cigna Group, is seeking high-energy, positive individuals to join their pharmacy technician team. This role is crucial in ensuring prescriptions are dispensed and shipped appropriately within corporate and regulatory guidelines, ultimately impacting the health of millions of patients. The position is located at the Newark, Delaware facility and operates on-site.

Requirements

• High School Diploma / GED required
• Basic math skills
• General PC knowledge including Microsoft Office, use of the internet and email
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy and quality

Nice To Haves

• Pharmacy Technician Certification preferred
• 1+ years of relevant work experience as a Pharmacy Technician, preferred

Responsibilities

• Select and retrieve appropriate quantities of medication and prepare corresponding labels.
• Collaborate with a skilled team to ensure patients receive necessary medication in a timely manner.
• Work with pharmacists and production clerks to ensure medications are adequately filled and support quality goals.
• Provide administrative and operational support services within the pharmacy.
• Define procedures under close supervision.
• Verify, print prescriptions, pick up medication, and assist on the packing line.
