Pharmacy Technician, 7on/7off
About The Position
Northside Hospital is an award-winning, state-of-the-art, continually growing healthcare organization. The Pharmacy Technician assists pharmacists with filling, compounding, and dispensing physician orders and performs technical duties related to the handling, packaging, and delivery of pharmaceuticals. The Pharmacy Tech II demonstrates proficiency in two or more pharmacy function areas, such as production/distribution, oncology, inventory management, narcotics, nursery, surgery, compounding, and home care/outpatient. The role provides patient care services to neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. Work hours are 1200–2230.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current registration as a Pharmacy Technician in the State of Georgia.
- One year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists in filling, compounding, and dispensing physician orders.
- Perform technical duties involving the handling, packaging, and delivery of pharmaceuticals.
