About The Position

Reedsburg Area Medical Center (RAMC) is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for its Inpatient Pharmacy. This per diem, full-performance-level position is located in the RAMC Pharmacy Department. The Pharmacy Technician serves as an all-around assistant to the pharmacist and performs duties with an understanding of pharmacy workflow, routine, and the responsibilities of the Pharmacy Service.

Shift times may fall between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM Monday through Friday, or 8:00 AM and 3:00 PM on weekends and holidays.

Requirements

• High school graduate or six months of general experience, or be a student enrolled in an approved nationally accredited pharmacy technician program.
• BLS certification required.
• Frequent walking, standing, sitting, reaching, manual/fine dexterity, grasping, and hearing at close distance.
• Occasional bending, twisting, crawling, kneeling, and squatting.
• Occasional ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Near and far vision required to view computer screens and documents and assist patients and healthcare team members.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist as an all-around assistant.
• Perform pharmacy duties with an understanding of workflow, routine, and Pharmacy Service responsibilities.
