About The Position

Encompass Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support safe medication dispensing for inpatient rehabilitation patients. Requirements

• Certification and registration as a Pharmacy Technician as required by the state.

Nice To Haves

• At least 1 year of pharmacy experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with general medical terminology is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory control and manage medication storage according to established protocols.
• Perform medication replacements, including daily filling of medication dispensing machines with a 24-hour supply using a unit-dose system.
• Manage paperwork and reports related to pharmacy activities, including medication cart records, compounding logs, and drug inspection records.
