About The Position
Roxborough Memorial Hospital, a 131-bed community hospital and member of Prime Healthcare, is seeking a Pharmacy Tech to assist the Pharmacist, under their supervision, in the daily operation of the Pharmacy. The hospital serves the Roxborough, Manayunk, East Falls, and northwest Philadelphia communities and is accredited by The Joint Commission.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- State Pharmacy Technician License/Registration, if required by state regulations.
- Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or National Healthcareer Association (NHA) certification is required or must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
Nice To Haves
- Previous pharmacy technician experience preferred.
- Graduation from an ASHP-accredited or equivalent pharmacy technician training program preferred.
- 340B program experience preferred if working at a 340B facility.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Pharmacist, under the Pharmacist’s supervision, in the daily operation of the Pharmacy.
