About The Position
Beverly Hills Cancer Center is seeking a reliable, dedicated, experienced Pharmacy Technician to join its growing team. The center provides comprehensive cancer care using advanced diagnostic technologies, treatment modalities, and clinical trials, with an emphasis on compassionate, personalized care. The Pharmacy Technician prepares and dispenses medications, processes prescriptions, and supports pharmacy administration under the supervision of pharmacy leadership and a pharmacist. A California pharmacy technician license is required. Experience in a specialty pharmacy or IV preparation is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities
- Prepare IV medications, including cytotoxic and research medications, under the direct supervision of the Pharmacy Supervisor and Pharmacist.
- Dispense appropriate quantities of drugs from the automated dispensing system and account for waste.
- Process retail prescriptions, ensuring that all information is accurate and complete.
- Assist the Pharmacy Manager with prior authorizations and co-pay assistance programs.
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively.
