About The Position

Broughton Hospital is seeking a full-time second shift Pharmacy Technician. In this role, you will provide technical pharmacy services by accurately processing and preparing physicians’ medication orders in both pharmacy and outpatient clinic settings. Responsibilities include supporting medication distribution, maintaining and troubleshooting pharmacy automation systems, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. All work is performed under the supervision of a licensed Pharmacist.

Requirements

Completion of an accredited nine-month Pharmacy Technician program; OR High school diploma or General Educational Development diploma and one year of pharmacy-related experience; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must be in good standing with the Health Care Personnel Registry and other licensing boards/agencies.
Must adhere to the facility's Vaccination Policy.
Must pass a pre-employment drug test and criminal record background check.

Nice To Haves

Experience in providing technical skills in a pharmacy setting (i.e., preparing medication for dispensing).
Completion of an accredited Pharmacy Technician program.
Hold a current Pharmacy Technician Certification.
One or more years of pharmacy related experience.
