About The Position

The Filling Pharmacy Technician works along the conveyor to process prescription add-ons accurately and efficiently, support pharmacy inventory activities, and ensure orders are packaged properly for shipment to patients. The technician is expected to personify AnewHealth’s Core Values and deliver on its Patient Promise. The role works Monday through Friday during evening hours, with an example schedule of 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. ET.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong prioritization and organizational skills.
• Ability to use multiple software programs to fulfill medication orders.
• Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
• Passion for helping people and enriching their lives.
• Ability to stand without assistance for an entire shift.
• Willingness to work Monday through Friday evening hours.
• If not registered with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy, willingness to obtain registration upon hire.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in a pharmacy environment.
• Prior pharmacy technician experience.
• Pharmacy Technician Certification Board certification and registration with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy.

Responsibilities

• Process prescriptions at a designated filling station along the conveyor.
• Maintain accuracy and efficiency in order fulfillment.
• Handle received pharmacy inventory.
• Keep the filling station clean, organized, and properly stocked.
• Package orders for shipment to patients.
• Monitor station queues.
• Maintain quality assurance standards to meet patient needs.
• Meet daily pharmacy goals to ensure timely delivery to patients.
• Communicate effectively in writing and verbally with internal counterparts to resolve patient issues.

• Perform other duties as assigned.
