About The Position

The Pharmacy Technician V Lead is a lead technician with supervisory functions in Specialty Pharmacy. Under the direction of a supervising pharmacist, the position performs Registered Technician duties supporting daily pharmacy operations, including routine and clerical functions related to drug distribution to patients. The technician may work independently within their scope of responsibility and supervises team members, processes, and operations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Current registration as a Pharmacy Technician by the South Carolina Board of Pharmacy (SCBOP).
• Certification from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or the Exam for the Certification of Pharmacy Technicians (ExCPT); certification must be maintained.
• Advanced certification: SC Board of Pharmacy State Certification or other area-specific advanced certification from an approved provider, such as ASHP or PTCB.
• Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
• Ability to maintain composure in stressful situations and pay close attention to detail.
• Professionalism, excellent written and verbal communication, and strong organizational skills.

Nice To Haves

• Three years of experience preferred.
