Accredo has been delivering dedicated, first-class care and services for patients for over 30 years, partnering closely with prescribers, payers, and specialty manufacturers. The role involves processing and shipping medications to patients who rely on Accredo's services. Requirements

High School diploma or GED
Pharmacy technician license in the state of Indiana
Basic math and computer skills (i.e. Microsoft Office)
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and quality
Willingness to work a flexible schedule to accommodate peak volume times

Responsibilities

Using advanced knowledge of the job to advise pharmacy techs on order fulfillment and related activities.
Assisting in coordinating and monitoring daily workflow in the pharmacy.
Stepping in to assist lead technicians.
Participating in Lean and Continuous Improvement efforts internal and external to the department.
Supporting staffing of pharmacy tech functions.
Supporting and training new employees, and identifying ongoing training needs of tenured employees that require retraining.
Understanding and helping manage inventory processes (cycle count, new drug additions, reverse distribution).
Other duties as assigned.
