About The Position

Accredo Specialty Pharmacy, a division of Evernorth Health Services, part of The Cigna Group, is looking for high-energy, positive individuals to join their pharmacy technician team. This team is responsible for ensuring prescriptions are dispensed and shipped appropriately within corporate and regulatory guidelines to reach patients. The role involves making a difference by selecting and retrieving medications, preparing labels, problem-solving for patients, and collaborating with pharmacists and production clerks to ensure timely medication delivery and support quality goals. The position offers administrative and operational support services within the pharmacy, with a focus on clearly defined procedures under supervision. Technicians also assist with picking up medication and packing, and gain new knowledge through training and peer relationships in a supportive environment.

Requirements

High School Diploma / GED required
Basic math skills
General PC knowledge including Microsoft Office, use of the internet and email
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong attention to detail, accuracy and quality.

Nice To Haves

Pharmacy Technician Certification preferred.
1+ years of relevant work experience as a Pharmacy Technician, preferred.

Responsibilities

Select and retrieve appropriate quantities of medication and prepare the labels that correspond.
Use problem-solving skills to help patients.
Work with a skilled team to ensure patients get the medication they need in a timely manner.
Collaborate with pharmacists and production clerks to ensure that medications are adequately filled and support the pharmacy's quality goals.
Deliver administrative and operational support services in the Pharmacy.
Works to clearly define procedures under close supervision.
Pick up the medication and help on the packing line.
