About The Position

As a Lead Pharmacy Technician, you will be assisting patients in receiving needed medications to help achieve their dreams of building a family. You’ll be empowered to engage patients, insurance companies, and multiple departments to process orders and ensure timely shipment of medications. This role is very detail oriented, and you’ll spend the majority of your day working on our computer system. Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 1-year relevant experience.
  • Valid MA Pharmacy technician license required.
  • Basic Math skills.
  • Strong experience with MS Office, especially with Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills; written and verbal.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and quality.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment to learn quickly, solve problems, and make decisions with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule.
  • Ability to self-direct, multi-task, be accountable, approachable, and organized.

Nice To Haves

  • PTCB preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support daily workflow in the pharmacy.
  • Accurately enter prescriptions into our system.
  • Interact with healthcare providers and provide guidance to patients about medication coverage.
  • Support and train new employees.
  • Identify ongoing training and retraining opportunities on team.
  • Create, modify, and adhere to SOP/SWI.
  • Cross trained in multiple areas while maintaining proficiency and accuracy.
  • Act as a champion of continuous improvement efforts for team, site and work stream.
  • Juggle multiple tasks without sacrificing attention to detail.
