Pharmacy Intern Part Time
About The Position
Vibra Healthcare is seeking a Pharmacy Technician Intern to work Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Vibra Hospital of Fargo, a 31-bed critical care hospital in Fargo, North Dakota. The hospital provides acute care for patients recovering from serious illnesses or injuries, including medically complex conditions. Under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist, the intern performs technical and clerical duties related to the hospital drug distribution system. Work includes preparing and distributing medications, including intravenous admixtures and extemporaneous drug preparations, maintaining drug inventory and confidential patient records, and potentially participating in the hospital Antibiotic Stewardship Program with a focus on patient safety and public health.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Pharmacy student who meets the Board of Pharmacy requirements to function as a Pharmacy Technician in the state of employment.
- Valid driver's license in states with multiple facilities requiring deliveries to sites.

Responsibilities
- Perform technical and clerical duties related to the hospital drug distribution system under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist.
- Fill physician orders by preparing and distributing medications, including intravenous admixtures and extemporaneous drug preparations.
- Maintain drug inventory.
- Maintain confidential patient records.
- May participate in the hospital Antibiotic Stewardship Program, focusing on patient safety and public health.
