About The Position
As a Pharmacy Technician II, you assist pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications and maintaining drug inventory and patient records. You accept new orders from prescribers, enter information into the electronic record, and prepare and affix labels. The role is based in the Cancer Center Pharmacy at Flower Hospital and is a full-time day-shift position.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- For Ohio: active Ohio Board of Pharmacy Certified Technician License, or Ohio Board of Pharmacy Intern license and P2 status in schooling.
- For Michigan: active Michigan Board of Pharmacy Technician License, or Michigan Board of Pharmacy Intern license and P2 status in schooling.
- Certified Pharmacy Technician certification is required (PTCB or ExCPT (NHA) exam accepted), unless the applicant has an intern license.
