About The Position

Rogue Community Health is hiring a Pharmacy Technician I to support pharmacy services for community members, including through its 340B medication program, which provides discounted medication costs to help patients in need. The position is predominantly based at the Medford location, with occasional shifts at other locations possible. Employees are assigned a primary work location but may be reassigned to another Rogue Community Health work site to support patient access and operational needs.

The role calls for an active Oregon Board of Pharmacy license, careful attention to detail, critical thinking, teamwork, and an interest in learning and improving processes. Candidates should be motivated to support underserved community members. A criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen are required after a conditional offer is accepted.

Requirements

• Current and active license through the Oregon Board of Pharmacy.
• Sharp attention to detail and willingness to check, question, and re-check.
• Desire to learn new things, develop new processes, and work at the top of the license.
• Individual critical-thinking skills and ability to openly share ideas within a team.
• Interest in learning from others and supporting colleagues who can learn from you.
• Ability or desire to understand the challenges faced by underserved people, coupled with a desire to help.
• Completion of a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen after accepting a conditional offer.

Responsibilities

• Support pharmacy services and timely, accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Participate in pharmacy work connected with the 340B medication program.
• Check, question, and re-check work with close attention to detail.
• Learn new things and develop new processes.
• Share ideas and collaborate with the team, while learning from and supporting colleagues.
• Help community members, including those facing barriers to healthcare access.
• Work predominantly at the Medford location and occasionally cover shifts at other locations as needed.
