As a Pharmacy Technician in Specialty Pharmacy Operations, you’ll contribute to a sophisticated workflow designed to deliver high-quality pharmaceutical care through centralized operations while building advanced technical and operational expertise. The Role In this non–customer facing role, you will work within a high-functioning specialty pharmacy operation, supporting prescription fulfillment, logistics, and inventory processes that directly impact patient care across UVA Health. Requirements

  • High School Graduate or Equivalent.
  • 6 months minimum relevant experience
  • Commonwealth of Virginia Pharmacy Technician Registration required.
  • CPhT credential through National Healthcareer Association (NHA) or Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) required. For team members hired prior to February 1, 2020, certification as CPhT through NHA or PTCB is required by January 31, 2022.
