Hillcrest Hospital South, a full-service 180-bed facility located in south Tulsa, offers a comprehensive range of inpatient and outpatient services utilizing cutting-edge technology in a welcoming community environment. As the only DNV Orthopedic Center of Excellence (OCE) in Oklahoma, Hillcrest South stands out for its exceptional orthopedic care. The hospital’s RN residency program is accredited by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a Practice Transition Accreditation Program and Pathway to Excellence, ensuring high-quality training for nurses. The pharmacy technician, under the supervision of a pharmacist, will assist in the technical, non-clinical aspects of preparing medications for dispensing and assist in pharmacy operations.

Requirements

  • High School graduate or GED
  • 2+ year’s previous hospital pharmacy technician experience (inclusive of training programs)
  • Completion of sterile compounding training/competency (as required by State BOP)
  • Active Registered Pharmacy Technician in good standing with the Board of Pharmacy, if required by state of employment
  • National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT)
  • BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care
