Pharmacy Tech III-Retail Pharmacy
About The Position
The Pharmacy Tech III supports safe, effective, and timely medication use by performing advanced technical pharmacy functions under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. The role ensures accurate medication preparation, inventory management, and regulatory compliance to optimize patient care and operational reliability. The technician performs other duties as assigned and carries out all job responsibilities in alignment with Kettering Health's mission, vision, values, and B Safe program. This is a full-time floater position. The technician must be willing to work at any of the Kettering Retail Pharmacies.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least two years of experience as a certified pharmacy technician in a hospital or health system pharmacy setting.
- Current registration as a Certified Pharmacy Technician with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy.
- Active national pharmacy technician certification, such as PTCB or NHA.
Responsibilities
