About The Position
The Pharmacy Technician II assists the Pharmacist with medication distribution functions, IV compounding, and other duties that enhance hospital-wide patient care. The technician must be licensed to practice as a Pharmacy Technician and registered with the Arkansas State Board of Pharmacy.
Requirements
- Active Pharmacy Technician License in good standing with the Arkansas State Board of Pharmacy.
- Pharmacy technician work experience within the past year or graduation from an accredited Pharmacy Technician Program.
Nice To Haves
- Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Pharmacist with medication distribution functions.
- Assist with IV compounding.
- Perform other duties that enhance hospital-wide patient care.
- Meet or exceed all performance standards of a Pharmacy Technician I.
