About The Position

This position is for a Part-Time Pharmacy Tech Certified at Sam's Club. The role involves providing excellent Member service, assisting with purchasing decisions, and resolving issues. Key responsibilities include operating cash registers, processing member purchases, and handling payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges. The Pharmacy Tech will also provide pharmacy products and services, process prescription and OTC orders, stock and secure pharmacy supplies, enter prescription information, and maintain required documentation. The role requires completing work assignments, collaborating with colleagues, and adhering to company policies, procedures, and ethical standards. Responsibilities

  • Provides Member service by acknowledging the Member identifying their needs assisting with purchasing decisions locating merchandise resolving issues and concerns and promoting the Companys products and services
  • Operates hardware such as cash registers or related equipment processes member purchases and assists in payments returns refunds and exchanges using appropriate procedures for different membership and payment types
  • Provides Pharmacy products and services to Members in accordance with Company policies and procedures by assisting with processing prescription and OTC orders and purchases stocking and securing Pharmacy supplies and merchandise entering prescription information or filing prescriptions and completing and maintaining paperwork forms and other required documentation
  • Receives and stocks merchandise in the Pharmacy area and organizes and maintains the Pharmacy area by following Company procedures utilizing equipment appropriately merchandising and completing paperwork logs and other required documentation
  • Completes work assignments and priorities by using policies data and resources collaborating with managers coworkers customers and other business partners identifying priorities deadlines and expectations carrying out tasks communicating progress and information determining and recommending ways to address improvement opportunities and adapting to and learning from change difficulties and feedback
  • Complies with company policies procedures and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans using the Open Door Policy: and applying these in executing business processes and practices
