About The Position

The Pharmacy Specialist-Clinical works under the supervision of the Pharmacy Director of Clinical Services to provide clinical pharmacy services at Loma Linda University Medical Center. Promotes rational drug therapy to physicians, optimize neonatal, pediatric and adult patient outcomes, and minimize hospital costs whenever possible. Performs other duties as needed.

Requirements

Graduation from school of pharmacy accredited by the American Board on pharmaceutical education.
PharmD. Degree preferred.
Two to three years of Clinical pharmacy experience, including supervision of interns and technicians.
Able to read; write legibly; speak in English (and Spanish preferred) with professional quality.
Use computer and software programs necessary to the position.
Troubleshoot and calibrate patient care equipment.
Able to relate and communicate positively, effectively, and professionally with others.
Be assertive and consistent in following and/or enforcing policies.
Work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure.
Lead, supervise, teach, and collaborate.
Accept direction.
Able to communicate effectively in English in person, in writing, and on the telephone.

Current California pharmacist license.
