The Clinical Pharmacy Specialist embedded within the Wayne Mobile Health Unit (WMHU) serves as a community-based clinical pharmacist supporting medication access, medication optimization, medication therapy management (MTM), pharmacy operations, and pharmacist-delivered patient care services across the Mobile Health Unit network. This role supports pharmacist-led clinical services within the Mobile Access Pharmacy Program (MAPP) through operational execution and optimization of medication access initiatives, MTM services, community-based clinical pharmacy services, and pharmacy-related workflows. The position works closely with program leadership to identify opportunities for service enhancement, workflow improvement, and expansion of pharmacist-delivered care. Primary responsibilities include community-based clinical pharmacy services, medication therapy management, medication access coordination, medication inventory oversight, pharmacy operations support, workflow optimization, quality improvement activities, and expansion of pharmacist-delivered services within mobile unit settings. The position may participate in pharmacist-managed care services through approved protocols under collaborative practice agreements as operational needs and program priorities expand.
