About The Position

The Pharmacy Resident PGY2 (Post Graduate Year) will acquire additional knowledge and experience in a specialized practice setting beyond their first-year general residency. The PGY2 resident will actively participate in the development and implementation of department goals and objectives to advance services and improve patient care within the specialized area of practice. This is a pharmacy practice residency position with work rotations scheduled with the clinical staff pharmacists, pharmacist specialists and leaders. Work situations are varied requiring a strong pharmaceutical knowledge base, organization, problem solving, decision making, data analysis, and leadership. Internal contacts include all levels of staff and management. External contacts include physicians, competing and affiliate organizations, and professional peers.

Requirements

Licensed pharmacy intern in the State of Washington at the date of hire
Completed, or eligible to graduate from an accredited PGY1 residency program

Responsibilities
