About The Position

The Pharmacy Resident PGY1 (Post Graduate Year) will acquire additional knowledge and experience beyond traditional academic experience, undergraduate pharmacy clerkships and general practice hospital experience. This role actively participates in the development and implementation of department goals and objectives to improve pharmaceutical services and standards of patient care, promoting the department's delivery of pharmaceutical care with a primary focus on patient outcome. This is a pharmacy practice residency position with work rotations scheduled with clinical staff pharmacists and pharmacist specialists (MHS). The work situations are varied, requiring a strong pharmaceutical knowledge base, organization, problem solving, decision making, data analysis, and leadership.

Requirements

Licensed pharmacy intern in the State of Washington at the date of hire
Must obtain pharmacist license in the State of Washington within 120 days of hire
